ILSE ANNA MARIA

I am a writer, photographer and videographer, enthusiastic listener, philosopher and anthropologist and sum this up as ‘storyteller’. I am also a passionate traveller who is fascinated by the wide variety of worldviews and life philosophies of people around the world.

From a philosophical and cultural anthropological lens, I study how social systems - such as capitalism, (post/neo)colonialism, and patriarchy - are rooted in certain worldviews. For me, the solution to global crises resulting from such exploitative systems lies in (re)connecting people and nature. And what better way to do that with than… storytelling!

With my stories, I hope to inspire people to a deeper connection with themselves, each other and their natural environment.

Through my work I hope to bring about a remembrance of our shared humanness – in all her beautiful differences and all her striking similarities.
